On Thursday, July 31, 2025, PREMIERE CINEMAS opened a new multiplex in the Varyáda shopping center in Karlovy Vary. The cinema offers more than 700 comfortable seats in 6 modern cinemas, giant screens, state-of-the-art projection technology, exceptional viewer comfort and a wide selection of the latest films. During the opening weekend from August 2 to 3, 2025, the multiplex, in cooperation with the Varyáda shopping center, prepared an entertaining afternoon for children and a Schweppes bar with bartenders and special drinks.
All cinemas in the new multiplex are equipped with the latest laser projection technology with 4K resolution from Barco. The location of the projectors within the multiplex is unique in the world – the projectors are placed on a raised walkway above the main foyer of the multiplex, so that viewers can see them in operation directly above them and feel the real movie atmosphere even more. All cinemas are equipped with 7.1 sound and also popular double seats. The flagship of the multiplex is the largest premium cinema hall 2 equipped with Dolby Atmos surround sound, which completely immerses visitors in the plot of the film. In the upper part of this cinema hall there is also an exclusive PREMIERE VIP section with 37 luxurious electrically adjustable chairs and the best view of the screen. The second smaller PREMIERE VIP cinema hall is equipped with 27 extra comfortable chairs and provides maximum comfort and a private atmosphere while watching a film. Only PREMIERE VIP visitors have access to a separate VIP lounge, where they are provided with unlimited selected refreshments included in the ticket price.
The new cinema started with a selection of eleven current film titles. From the premieres, it offers the new Czech film Džob, the family comedy Zlouni 2 or the horror Vrať mi ji.
