Work to modernize and expand the Varyáda shopping center, the most visited shopping center in the Karlovy Vary Region for many years, took nearly two years. The reconstruction was carried out while the center remained fully operational and was completed this autumn. The project, which required an investment exceeding EUR 40 million, involved increasing the leasable area by one third, modernizing the interior, and creating a new food court. The center now also includes a new multiplex cinema with six screens. Together with the Central Most shopping center, Karlovy Vary’s Varyáda is part of the Czech portfolio of the EPC Group investment company, which specializes in the development, management, and growth of commercial real estate.
