Varyáda on the road: The roadshow brings news related to entertainment for the whole family to 17 municipalities across the region

The Varyáda shopping centre is launching its Roadshow for the ongoing modernisation. On a journey through the Karlovy Vary Region, during which he will make 17 stops, he will present to the locals what the new Varyáda has in store for them. At the same time, it will bring a lot of fun, rewards and goodies. All visitors can expect a model of the center made of Lego bricks, which will show its future size and the changes made. Those interested will be able to spin the wheel of fortune and win vouchers to shops or gift items. The roadshow starts on August 9 in Chodov, and the journey will continue until the second half of September. During this time, the Albert hypermarket will be temporarily closed, which will undergo an extensive transformation. Otherwise, the shopping center remains fully open and ready to welcome its visitors.

“Our goal is to establish and strengthen relationships with people from all over the region. I firmly believe that everyone who comes to see our design caravan will be thrilled. In addition to entertainment, we also thought of good refreshments, which are a chance to get to know our selected gastro tenants. Hot dogs from Bistro Zlámalíková, fresh fruit from the Albert hypermarket, Premiere Cinemas popcorn, which is preparing a brand new multiplex with six cinema screens, as well as traditional Karlovy Vary wafers, will be handed out. There will also be good coffee, raspberry liqueur and prosecco to celebrate the new Varyáda,” says Martin Malý, Director of Marketing and Communications at EPG Group.

In addition, in the period from August 19 to September 17, the so-called Varyáda Patrola will walk around Karlovy Vary every Monday and Tuesday. This consists of a hostess and a promoter, who will also give people joy in the form of raspberry liqueur, coffee and, above all, money vouchers, which are always valid until the end of the week. “We have carefully fine-tuned the entire Roadshow and Varyáda Patrol to the last detail to bring the typical atmosphere of Varyáda directly to the people. Among other things, they can look forward to original clothing for hostesses and promoters, which was designed by a fashion designer from Karlovy Vary who works under the artistic name Debbie Brown,” continues Martin Malý.

The Varyáda shopping centre has been undergoing extensive renovation and expansion since the beginning of this year, with a planned completion date before the 2025 Christmas season. It will bring visitors an even better shopping experience, as well as new shops and services. The centre’s leasable area will increase by a third, creating space for more than 100 retail tenants, including multiplex operator Premiere Cinemas. The new food court will offer a wide range of restaurants and cafes where everyone can choose. The modernized Albert hypermarket counts, among other things, with self-service checkouts that will simplify and speed up shopping for customers. Environmentally friendly solutions, such as photovoltaic panels on the roof or charging stations for electric cars, will increase the sustainability of the centre. Overall, Varyáda will become an attractive place for shopping, gourmet experiences and film entertainment, confirming its position as a sought-after place in the Karlovy Vary Region.
