Shopping mall Central Most is undergoing extensive renovation for hundreds of millions crowns

The Central Most shopping center, the only one in Most and its surrounding areas, is undergoing a complete reconstruction. This began in the first half of 2020 when the food court received a completely new look. Last year, the common areas of the center, including lighting and flooring, were completely renovated. This year, the shopping center is awaiting the refurbishment of its main entrances, and in the following year, the exterior façade will be renovated, photovoltaic panels will be installed on the roof, and greenery will be planted. The owner of the shopping center is investing over one hundred million Czech crowns in the region.

At the Central Most shopping center in Most, which is part of the EPG (European Property Group) investment group, an expensive reconstruction is continuing, divided into several phases. The first two phases have been carried out in the past two years, with more planned for the coming months. “All the work done so far has been carried out while the center was in full operation, but we also took advantage of the state of emergency and during that time, we renovated the food court and replaced the 13-year-old flooring and lighting,” says Jiří Volf, Head of Investments and Acquisitions at the EPG Group. Customers have been able to witness the gradual transformation of the food court inspired by the surrounding Krušné Mountains nature, and today, they can relax in the moss and blueberry forest zone, at the Wolf’s Den, or in the mountain hut area. “The omnipresent greenery reminds every resident of Most of the places associated with the Krušné Mountains,” added Jiří Volf.
